Ashley has been grooming since 2006 and opened The Smiling Dog in 2010. She spent many years working in shelters, veterinary clinics and grooming salons. Her hobbies are running, drawing and writing.

“I take my work very seriously and give each individual dog or cat special treatment as they are part of my family while they are with me for the short time of grooming.”

Ashley lives with a wonderful husband – a great “doggie dad” to their six adorable pups – our four Dachshunds, Burbank, Hollister, Tehama “Tater”, and Auburn, our Tibetan Spaniel Mix, Cricket, and our American Bull Dog mix, Megatron.”
